At Stradonia, we believe that thoughtful hospitality is built through conscious everyday choices. For us, sustainability is not a separate project, but a way of operating — calm, consistent, and intentional. We understand responsibility broadly: as care for our Guests’ comfort, the quality of our daily operations, and the impact we have on our surroundings.
Our everyday practices
- we separate waste,
- we monitor our water footprint and water flow,
- we provide our Guests with water in glass bottles, which are then collected and recycled,
- we have replaced our apartment access cards with wooden ones,
- we avoid single-use plastic,
- we use natural cosmetics and cleaning products.
Measuring our impact
We want our sustainability efforts to be more than a declaration. That is why we measure our carbon footprint. According to the HCMI calculation for Stradonia for 2024, the property’s total carbon footprint amounted to 90.50 tCO2e, including 88.28 tCO2e related to guestrooms and 2.22 tCO2e related to meeting space.
This corresponds to 12.35 kgCO2e per occupied room per day. For us, this is an important point of reference — it helps us make more informed decisions and continue improving based on actual data rather than assumptions.
